How much does having work authorization impact your ability to get hired? Currently both spouse and I are on H1B, but spouse is also eligible for L1 (having worked in a subsidiary abroad for 1 year+). I’m thinking of switching jobs soon, but the recent H1B EO has added a lot of uncertainty and I’m worried companies are now more reluctant to sponsor. Would it make sense at all for spouse to switch to L-1 so I can get unrestricted L2S work authorization? Has anyone tried anything similar? TIA
