If you have cash that you want to invest. Please consider Treasury Series I Savings Bond (Electronic). Interest is 7.12% right now. While it's not guaranteed that the 7.12% will remain until next year, it's still a good deal.
My SO and I just invested 20k (10k max per person even married).

I'm dealing with the same problem - trying to roll in about $150k in cash. I've been putting about $5k in every 2 weeks. I put $20k in one go a couple months ago - wish I had done more! Hindsight and all that :)
I’d do a third each week. All in by week 3. Or half each week.
And then continue to put money in each paycheck.
I just did $45,000 in one day. My plan is long term so I’m not really concerned what happens 6 weeks from now.
Thanks for the advice! I’m definitely in it for the long haul. Putting in quite a bit of my pay as well.
I’m pretty risk averse. Probably should take more risks since I’m still quite young

How much is your 8 month emergency fund if you don’t mind me asking?
My monthly fixed expense are probably around 2500-3000. The rest are buffer costs just in case bad stuff happens (eg healthcare, insurance, etc)
You are probably better off investing in a lump sum, and if you’re nervous about a correction, allocate more to fixed income. Then when the market corrects, move more to equity.
