Helo everyone, I had an interview scheduled with Cognizant on last week of Jan 2022 but due to technical error in Verification code I couldn't join interview lobby. I reported the same to the HR and I was told the interview will be rescheduled. Now there's no update from the HR. Could you please guide me how can I proceed or any email address to which I can inform to take the rescheduling process further.
Thanks in advance

If you have cash that you want to invest. Please consider Treasury Series I Savings Bond (Electronic). Interest is 7.12% right now. While it's not guaranteed that the 7.12% will remain until next year, it's still a good deal.
My SO and I just invested 20k (10k max per person even married).

My wife and I had a good month last month. We spent $1,000 between eating out and groceries. We usually spend >$1,200
Sounds about right....
We spend around $600 (about ~$150 per week for two of us) on groceries and probably another $800-$1000 on average eating out. Going out to a nice Friday night dinner is our “thing,” so we don’t mind splurging. And healthy groceries are so expensive compared to other things 🤯. I guess it doesn’t help we have all of our groceries delivered. My SO and I are both comfortable with how much we spend though (and contribute equally), so it’s definitely important to be on the same page.
Agreed. My groceries for two are about the same. Eating out is cheaper, but we don’t drink much when out for dinner.
HCOL here (LA) and spend about $500 on groceries and $800 on dining out and delivery for myself and SO. Includes hosting dinner for friends or family at least once a month. Probably have some room to improve on delivery though.
WRT feeling like you’re always swiping your card, SO and I opened a joint checking and cc when we first moved in to make sharing costs easier. We both transfer a set amount every pay check into the account to cover food, rent, vacation fund, etc. Definitely made managing joint costs easier. Might not work for every couple though.
2 people. Per month.
Groceries: 400-450
Eating out: 200
Since we spend a good amount on groceries we cook mostly and eating out is just once or twice.
Easily $1000 per month for groceries and eating out for 2 people in a HCOL area. 80%-90% of that is groceries.
Family of 4, Midwest. Our goal is $700 on groceries, $100 on dining out. We never meet our goal, we always go over.
So it’s closer to $800 and $150
Stop eating out so much, have enough food for about 3-4 meals a day (fruit smoothie w/protein can replace one meal), and workout. I workout every day, and literally always feel full.
Combined groceries and dining (per month) : $250-350
Sounds like a financial discussion to be had? Might I suggest a split proportionate to both your salaries?
I live with my partner and spend maybe $300-400/month on groceries and try not to spend more than $100 on takeout every month.
What are you guys spending on takeout if you're eating at home 4 or 5 days a week?
We eat out maybe 4 times a month! We also typically split it so either we pay 50/50 or i buy one time and he buys the next. We also sometimes just go to a bar and get drinks and eat dinner at home. Some months it's up to $200 and some months it's less.
We live in a HCOL and spend about 300-400 on groceries per month and around 200 eating out. We don't drink much so our eating out budget is also lower.
Find a place that lets you byob or do a fancy dinner date at home. Drinks add up quick and the check easily come out to $80 when we have a glass of wine each.
We spend like $500/month on groceries and $250/month on eating out. We have a pretty strict limit on eating out twice a week at a sit down restaurant and we don’t get wasted or anything when we do.
If you’re in HCOL this isn’t bad at all. I’m in NYC and spend $400+ on 2 people for groceries and probably $600+ on eating out.
Going to dinner can easily run $100+ once you get drinks, apps, entrees, tip. We go out to dinner at least 1x a week, and do takeout another night.
On the other hand you did do an eye roll emoji in feeling like you are constantly swiping your card so maybe you feel your SO isn’t paying their fair share? Start a Splitwise or something if you want to keep it equal.
My spending habits definitely changed when we moved in together, I remember having sticker shock too with my increased grocery bill
Wife and I (no kids yet) spend about 300$ on groceries and 150$ on eating out living in low cost area (Raleigh-Durham)
We are in Raleigh ourselves but a family with three teenagers, so we spend a whole lot more than that. If we’re very intentional about planning meals at home, we spend about $350/wk on (delivered) groceries from Wegman’s, HT, Costco or Trader Joe’s, plus we live near North Hills so have easy routes to spending $80-$100 per pop for the family to eat out (and did that way too often before the pandemic). I am not sure I would still classify RDU as a low-cost area, though, having now lived here 22 years. The prices here are pretty comparable to some fairly expensive cities these days.
For 2 we spend $600 a month on groceries and household items and $100 a month on takeout, dining out, etc.
I try to make eating out at least half of my groceries.
Hoboken NJ:
$500 groceries (wfh so b/l/d at home)
$125 takeout (includes like 1 takeout per week max not huge on dinner takeout, but bigger on weekend coffee/bfast sandwiches)
$300 going out (includes drinks with friends and fun dinners)
$100 alcohol purchases
About 1.7-2k/mo. 2 adults, 2 kids. Excludes alcohol. Dining is prolly ~500ish but part of “entertainment” bucket
I spend more than that on 2 people and order in food maybe 2x a month
Two people for less $1000? How do people do that? Do you eat a lot of rice, beans, pastas?
I am impressed by how many people feed two people for like $600 a month. I generally spend like $800 on groceries and another $500 on eating out for 2 people and a toddler.
About 400 for groceries and 300 eating out for 2 people.
Philly party of 2
$500-600/month on groceries
$500-700/month on eating out
We shop at Whole Foods and eat out at least once every weekend (could be more if friends or family are around)
