Why short people gotta take the exit row ?
I have a fair amount of retail experience and have created a bowl to help fellow consultants who are interviewing in retail and CPG. My experience is across a wide range of topics (primarily non technical) and would love to help folks get their dream job. Would be awesome if others can join and contribute their knowledge.

That’s GAS salary. Not ACD
Depends on the agency size but if it’s also a pharma agency seems like they’re low balling for sure!
It’s a very large pharma agency!
sounds about right if you are 1-3 years experience as ACD
Not in NYC. 180-195
depends if this a promo for you. there is likely a salary band that accounts for promos into the role and extends upward for more experienced ACDs. my reco would be to negotiate a bit but dont negotiate yourself out of a better job. if the opportunity feels like it could transform your career, go for it.
It’s a lot low. At least in NYC, should be starting at closer to 175k minimum
New York has a higher cost of living. If you are not living in NY, they could justify a lower salary depending on where you live. I have found that a lot of people don’t realize that COL is part of the salary equation. And, likewise, if you are in NY, you should be paid more.
$175k minimum, closer to $185k.
I’m technically skipping a level while only having a year experience as an art supervisor. Does that change things?
So you are skipping a level and getting the title...and think that the money is too low? Might want to take stock. If they saw something they liked, its an investment on their part while your experience catches up.
You should really be at least 165 minimum for that role, but I would aim to be in the 170s
That’s low but… I bet because you’re skipping a level that’s part of the reason. Depending on how much experience you have, they might not be offering you the same as an established ACD.
