Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

I think that 2 is the bare minimum but I also think that people who move too frequently don't end up building the kind of network or relationships that are important to have a thriving career for your entire life. I recommend staying in a role 3-5 years, and negotiating raises and title adjustments within that role as you learn more and take on more responsibilities.
Thank you! 2 years is enough I think as well.
1 year if you want more responsibilities for current role. 2 years to begin looking outside current role
That’s very good! I like that! I feel as though 1 year is enough.
I'd say that somewhere in the second year of having a position you probably would have learned what you need to know and gained enough experience to move beyond it. That's not always possible, of course, there will be times when we want to do more or move up and we feel like we're in a logjam. But certainly within two years you should be capable of moving up.
Thank you for the feedback. I think 2 years is enough as well.
Honestly it depends on the role you are in and what your career aspirations are. Personally I would say a year. After a year you should feel confident enough in your abilities to ask for more responsibility. That is my opinion though.
Yes, clearly the kind of role that you are in depends on how long it would take. A year should be enough after getting a handle on your abilities/reaponsibilities.
