Firm's recruiter told me to be ready with my salary number for interview. Interview was several rounds on the same day with multiple attorneys from the office. Never got asked about salary. Is that normal? Little worried as firm recuriter explicitly said to have that number ready as I'd be asked.

It doesn’t matter if you are the best version of yourself, if you work constantly every day to be the best, towards yourself and others. You need someone to give you a chance to prove that to them. You can be the best damn candidate for a job but if they don’t give you a chance to interview, it doesn’t mean a damn thing.

Two years ago got fired. Reason, Boss was unhappy beacuse of my direct contact with CEO also with other higher level people. So he took my CCTV footage to show his bosses and hr that i always roming around which is true beacuse i finish my work way faster then others. To add more skills i hang around with purchase or sales, learn from them few new things. BTW i never ever been late for submitting my work on time. And everyone likes me. Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.
