Never. I will never work on the weekends. Weekends are for my family.
We have a 6 week rotating schedule for contact, but we’re paid OT for it and can always ask someone to switch. There’s usually someone who will be happy to take tha shift for you

I have never been asked to work on weekends since entering the insurance space.
Not "expected" to work, but truth is the workload is more than we can handle in a 40 hour week. As a salary employee, some extra time is expected.
In my early years as a single person I did work on the weekends a few hours when needed so I could be the best on the team. No one asked me to do it. I contribute that work ethic to where I am today.
I am a former practicing lawyer who moved over to claims. The work life balance is much better. I only work weekends if I feel like doing so, which is rare.
