I’m newish at Bakery. It’s been a great place so far. My team has been here between 3-7 years. I don’t get the hate at all. It’s a small agency that has been growing. Shiner was a legit win. No undercutting at all as we were one of the most expensive the way I understand it. I believe the other agencies were Preacher, Fallon and Marketing Arm, maybe 2 others. Seeing the same Writer and Senior Strategist talking the agency down. If there is something I may not be seeing 5-6 months in let me know. Otherwise I’m here to tell you it’s a good place. Small agency pains like any other but no toxic environment, no high turnover, no fluff that I have seen. Shiner isn’t the only 2020 win. Other announcements coming in January or February I bet.
Congrats Rodrigo. I guess y’all really can do great things when your leadership isn’t involved.
I’ve worked at Bakery for 18 months. From day one, I have witnessed a team that punches way above their weight class. I’ve found it to be an environment that is very open and inviting for all voices to contribute. Less hierarchy and politics than most agencies I’ve worked in. The negative voices do not match up to what I have seen. I’d highly recommend this crew to anyone hoping to join an agency on the rise that is doing it well by supporting its team members' growth. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
Can’t believe it. They must have seriously undercut the other agencies pitching.
whaaaat? how is this a thing?
That’s not going to end well.
Absolutely wild.
Shiner’s work hasn’t been great for a minute, but still...
Who else was pitching? I’d usually wish other agencies well but have such a bad experience with them and feel like they’re just fluff that it bothers me.
Yes.
Ah that explains the hiring post.
Shiner sounds like it could be fun to work on but I’ve heard nothing but bad things about Bakery haha
Based on how they parted with McGarrah Jessee a couple years back, it sounds like Shiner is a difficult brand to work on.
😂😂😂 Man! Micky and Hector living rent free in a bunch of jokers’ heads. Let it go. Have a Shiner!
Richards Group had it, so I’m assuming it had to go? And Shiner/Gambrinus probably wanted something closer to San Antonio HQ than Dallas anyways.
Probably wouldn’t mention the vmly&r Austin office there. Seems like they just service dell b2b unless I’ve been lead very very far astray
