I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

It totally depends on your YOE, current role, and notice period.
1. You have 0-2 years of experience. You will hardly get any call. Increase it to 5-8 years, you will get 10 calls a day. Not sure why it is the case. By mistake, the total experience in my naukri account was 5 years. It included all the internship experiences as well. That day I got 17 calls. Next day, I changed it back to 2 years. It reduced drastically.
2. Your headline. Try to include the most popular keywords in your headline. You put something like Senior Software Engineer - you have less chances.
Put something like Senior Full Stack Java
Microservices Developer - kaboom!!!
3. You have a notice period of 90 days - even naukri wont send you promotional messages. You put it to 60 days, your profile starts getting bookmarked by recruiters. Put it to <30 days, you will start getting calls.
4. Put all the possible skill sets that you have. Ex. you are a developer, put Agile, SDLC, etc. Check the most popular JDs, pick the keywords, put it in your skillset. Then think about actually learning them.
These might work out for somebody. And there will be people who would get calls without following this. These are just my observations. And I have found it to be true for indeed and linkedin as well.
I have posted it in other posts as well. Just thought it would be helpful for you.
No company can force you to work for a 90 days notice period. As a heads up, 14 days are required. What you can do about it:
1. Tell your prospective employer that your notice period is 60 days, but it is negotiable and might come down to 45 days. People usually wait for that period of time. If they end up choosing you for the job, tell them that you're involved in a critical project right now and your employer isn't willing to reduce it to 45 days, hence you'd have to work the standard 60 days.
Next up, negotiating with your current employer.
2. Once you get the offer, use your existing Paid Leaves. One can always use their available paid leaves to shorten the notice period time. In my case, I had around 45-50 paid leaves. I opted to use them all to significantly reduce my NP. I only ended up with an exact 1 month of NP that I served.
3. Keep giving interviews now that you have an offer at hand and are already on notice period. This time is GOLD to actually bag a very high paying job.
NB: This is tried and tested. Until Nov '22 I was at 6.5 lpa. I got my first offer for 9.5 lap in Nov. Resigned and kept giving interviews. I am at 20.3 lpa (4.8 lacs variable). This is a huge jump and I do consider myself extremely lucky. But I just want to say that this is very much possible.
I am from a non tech background and I'm currently working in a popular tech company (non MAANG)
Tell companies that NP is negotiable and you are 100% sure you will get early release. This will make them more likely to give you a chance.
@operation analyst
What is that company by the way?
It's not bad to be jobless for a few months
@GM1 ...CTC ka raub dikhane ki zaroorat ni ..wo Aaj na kl sabka badh jaata h... Tu dekh apni language upar reply me uske baad mereko seekhana.. Only shit people can comment that about others father..(i see that comment is now deleted) Koi respect naam ki chiz toh hai ni ...
There are companies who wait for 90 days
Hi I recently got an offer from publicis sapient. I would like to know the work culture and other benefits in this company
In my case i took an offer from one of the witch company with around 5% hike to my current CTC. I accepted the offer and resigned from my current company and in 90 days got multiple offers from reputed companies with 60-80 % hike.
Was this recent or before 2022 quasi-recession
There are some companies which are okay with 90 days NP, first take offer from them then go for window shopping.
MNC Companies Like TCS.. such as WIPRO, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture. Try to get offers from these first and then you can find better offers after resigning once you’re close to 1 month notice period mark
This works everytime for me.. i say that i have dropped papers and the current project development is over and now giving handover to the other vendor who won the support project. So after handover I will be left with no project..so easy to get release... once u get offer tell them that the vendor handover is nt completed and need more time to join new company.. more convincing one.. don't want this trick to be know by HR ,🤪.. will delete soon..if allowed
Reduce the notice period in Naukri to 45 or 60 days.
If you get call then tell them if you get selected you can check for buy out option.
Once you get offer try to extend as much possible and also try to get more offers. Once you are confident that you will definitely get a job even if non of the offered company waits, then resign.
It's kind of game and risk and you may need to play it well but I know people succeeded by this approach.
Even my notice was 60 days and company waited till that. I joined in FIS
Bro move out of your comfort zone.
Put your paper mention that you have 1 month notice period. Give interviews. 90 days are more than enough to negotiate

@op - do not, in any case resign and then look for a job. The current market situation is very bad. I’ve seen my friends struggling. Don’t opt for that option.
I had a similar scenario. I got an offer and asked them that I can negotiate my np to 45 days. They agreed and released the offer.I resigned but my company didn't agree to release early. I reached out to the company from which I got the offer to extend the joining date. First they refused. But I continued attending interviews and was able to grab 1-2 offers. And then I got the call from the company from which I first got the offer. They agreed to extend the joining date.
I still have 1 month of notice period to serve and getting a good amount of calls. Am sure by the end of the np I will have around 5-6 offers in hand.
Key pointers to keep in mind:
1.Should not panic
2. Keep upskilling
3. Even if you fail in the interviews don't get demotivated. Learn the areas where you did not perform in the interview and bounce back in the next interview.
Resign.... No way around...

resign and search if not in much money crunch ... 90 days is way too long to secure a single job
I also had resigned once without having job in hand. I got 1 offer in 90 days which was not that lucrative. So, on the last day of my notice period, I decided to take back my resignation, and kept searching for job.
I got another offer after 4 months, and then I resigned again and this time didn't take it back. That's how I landed in TCS 🙂
I took it back in other organization not in TCS. And yes, they happily took me back
Resign and search
I would say tell them your np is 30 days, give some interviews if you clear them and have some confidence put down your papers and start searching then
At the end of 90 days surely you'll get a good offer.
There is no way around because companies are not ready to wait for 90 days in current market
Usually month of January product based companies hire for such kind of NPs
I remember getting into Mercedes Benz’s research and Development in January and they wanted me onboard by April 20th
A couple of other companies I had gotten in during the same time had similar approach
Yes new projects come into picture with new year
Behave weirdly in the company and try to get on bench.
Once you will be on bench, you'll be a liability for the firm. Find a job and mention 30days notice. They will relieve you early.
