How tough is the interviewing process at Oliver Wyman, Dubai? It is for MBA entry role, pre-EM, I believe you call that Associate at OW. I used to blast case cracking and got offers from Bain (obviously) and A&M, but that was almost 5 years ago.
Pre-emptively answering question why would I make a move from Bain, I shifted from generalist to expert con after 3 years and don’t love my practice.

So I get that in a corporate set up, you are supposed to be sharp and witty and think on your feet. Trouble is, I am extremely slow with comebacks. (Think Ross in Friends/Amy in B99) at the crunch moment, I generally end up not being able to give a good roast back. Unfortunately the best of them come to me like a few hours later (dinner/shower/TV) and I am left ruing and amazing opportunity to have gotten one back. I am awful at jibes and roasts.

What is better hertz or Avis loyalty program? I have been on hertz (president circle status due to united status) and collected points a few free rental days now. Situation: got an offer from firm X; highly likely to get a better offer from firm Y but official offer would take a couple of more weeks in best case scenario. However, firm X’s offer validity about to run out. Would you: (1) accept X’s offer now but rescind later if Y converts (2) ask X for additional time to decide (they’re “prestigious” and may not offer additional time...) (3) Play straight, decline X and hope Y converts (4) any other creative ideas ...???
