It's a risk that has paid off for me in the past, but it's still a risk. Not all companies are open to criticism, especially from outsiders.
You have nothing to lose by making an attempt to remain in their thoughts. But it would be good to be deft in how you approach them. Avoid talking about missed opportunities, just keep it positive and say you noticed some opportunities. Saying you have ideas about how you might work with them shouldn't do any harm. And, again, you've got nothing to lose.

Agreed with the above. I think if you frame it in opportunities that you are excited to support vs. things they need to improve on, they’ll likely take it better. I’d just be thoughtful.
But how they respond also gives you good intel if it’s a place you really want to work.
