So, how does a first timer go about getting involved in dating apps? How do I start and what’s a good one to use? Last time I dated, only Match existed!! 🙄 (long story, I’m not that old)

Looking for a suggestion for a date spot that would be convenient and a good halfway meeting point: i’m in Murray Hill and my date is coming from Astoria. I usually have my dates meet me here when they live in Manhattan but I think somewhere halfway would be more fair in this case. Hey so just to check on my part. I worked at a place where we went to a firm happy hour and women attorneys were there. A picture was passed around of a really hot woman on Instagram who they are oggled , later after the woman left some guy talked about all the quote whores he slept with. The women weren't sex workers presumably. I'm a male this behavior seems inappropriate to me and made me uncomfortable. Am I expected to exhibit this level of 1950s machismo in my day-to-day life?

In my 20s and almost exclusively attracted to men 40+ but every time I match with one on a dating app they end up being creepy.
