Should I complain to a firm's HR if the interviewers laughed at my answer during an interview? Maybe it sounded scripted but it was still heartfelt and genuine: my immigration story and how that made me appreciate the rule of law. I said it soo many times during OCI's that maybe it eventually sounded robotic, but for the interviewers to laugh and one to say sarcastically "nice elevator pitch", I thought was rude. Thoughts?

My American citizen 8 month old is on tourist visa in India; current stay runs out on June 7. Flying outside the country is a risk we don’t want to take w/COVID. Don’t want to overstay the visa either. So we applied online on eFRRO to convert his visa to X-1 so we can apply for his OCI. They didn’t ask for payment and message popped up saying watch your text/email for next steps. Anything else I can do?

Has anyone gone through an automatic visa revalidation recently? I have an expired L1 stamp and a valid H1B I797A. Do I need to tell the CBP officer at the Canadian airport that I am going for automatic visa revalidation or do they know already once they see the I797A with the expired stamp? This will be at Vancouver airport.

How transparent is your firm about your H1B application? Do you get your application receipt number? I’ve worked really hard to get this job and made a lot of life changing decisions and worried about losing all this just because my application isn’t picked in lottery🥺🙁.
