HUGE news. Capital One now has JAL as a transfer partner! Ratio will be 4:3 (not bad) but has a 30% transfer bonus for the next month that makes it nearly 1:1 (1,000 C1 >> 975 JAL).

JAL metal has the best availability/rates, with the only other transfers being from Bilt (1:1 but hard to accrue their points) or Bonvoy (at 3:1 which is pretty rough unless you're just topping off).

Does TCS offer stock as part of bonus ?

Hello, after doing some research I believe I’m being underpaid. About 4 months ago HR did a market analysis for my role. They bumped my salary for about $2k. I’m a mid-level Executive assistant with 6 years of experience and currently supporting 5 executives at a fortune 50 company. One C level and 4 Vice Presidents. I’m currently making $61,000 with bonus included. Based on my research I should at least be making $71,400. I have a check in with my boss tomorrow and I am asking for a raise.

Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?
