I accepted a job offer as a campus hire with a T2 (maybe T3?) consulting firm and just received a verbal offer from Accenture for the CDP program. Total comp is higher with Acc. I accepted the first offer because I thought I bombed the interview with Accenture. Any advice on how to proceed? I know I should take Accenture but I guess I feel bad dejecting an offer I signed?

Just accepted an offer with a psych startup. Not exactly the offer I was hoping for as I’m taking a slight pay cut ($73/hr) and it’s a 1099 position. I keep getting stuck on the 1099 piece because I’ll be working 40 hrs/wk, but have been told I’m not eligible to be a W2 employee. Needless to say, no benefits whatsoever. They don’t even provide a computer or any other remote equipment for the completely remote position. Am I making a mistake? Also, can anyone chime in about being a 1099 employee?

It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…

Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.
