Ain’t no loyalty in this game. Do it.

Would it be considered disloyal? Probably. Should that stop you from doing it? Nope.

Do it. I was in a similar spot and chose to be “loyal” and it was a mistake.

I did that. No regrets. Do it !

Your current firm would drop you like a sack of potatoes if it made sense on their end. Look out for your own interests here. And going to interview is not accepting an offer. At worst, you’re gaining the opportunity to make a more informed decision.

How did you get into your area of law? I have been licensed for 5 years and I still don't know where I ultimately want to be. I started as a line attorney and after 3 years, I moved to a non-litigation position working for the state. I feel lost. I have thought about getting MBA to compliment my JD. I was a good litigator but I had trouble turning off my brain and being present with my family when I was a litigator, so I don't think I would want to go back.

Hey there! I work in a mid-size full service agency with a growing marketing team. We currently don't have a CD due to our size and current client portfolio, but that's a role I'd love to step into when the time is right and my management is on board with that. Any advice on how to prepare for that kind of role without changing agencies? Or anyone open to mentoring me? I'd love to learn from a CD or ACD to see what they're doing and what I can bring without leaving my team!

Feeling conflicted about wanting to leave my current company of a year where I feel I’m underpaid (despite praise from managers), though I love my coworkers and (sometimes) the work/clients. I know I can make a lateral jump somewhere else to make more, and I don’t want to get left behind in this hot market. I would be really sad to leave my current role, but really want/need more money. Anyone else going through this?

My company matches 100% up til 3%, and 50% til 5%. 2) 85K in stocks, including both base and profits 3) 50K in real estate 4) 25K emergency funds. No debt. Should I open an IRA roth account and max it out? Not sure what my goal is. Im 40% high risk high reward, 60% stability.
