I am 54 years old and have been main earner. My wife has been in workforce for more than 10 years with breaks. She qualifies for Social Security when she reaches retirement age.
My question is if I die before reaching retirement age, what happens to my social security, does my wife qualify to claim it?
Just doing planning on making her secure if I don’t live long enough.
Obviously I am assuming social security will be available in another 25 to 20 years 😜

The problem is I’m trying to use the entire bank description as my lookup value, but the table array I’m searching only has the first part of the descriptions (because the last parts are all different bank ref numbers). Had a consultation with an attorney for legal advice on my options to address a late filing for a taxable event. They recommended me two options: file or not file. In order to help him with the consultation he asked to send him additional information like bank statements and work authorization which I sent.

If I decide to not file or go to another attorney if the fees are high, can the attorney still report me or whistle blow me to the tax authorities?

They are withholding any belongings that I left in the office and have ignored my emails asking to arrange a pick up or delivery of my personal items. Is it possible to become an attorney (getting JD, admission to bar and keep license to practice) but not practice law at all and keep working in a totally different profession where you are already working at? I know professionally this doesn’t make sense but just curious to know.

Is it legal to use taskrabbit or hire a plumber to fix an issue without my landlords knowledge if I feel that my landlord is being slow about addressing an issue like possible mold from a leak? Honestly at this point I have the $ and would prefer to just pay myself and get it over with than wait. Any consequences for me if they found out I did this?

Does attending a T-14 school make a big difference during hiring? Also, how realistic is it to get in one with 3.0 from undergrad?
