I've been an individual contributor for 4 years in Tech, have 8 years of experience total. I'm finding it difficult to make the management transition despite having management experience, performing beyond expectations, and having a genuine passion for enablement and development.

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I got an offer in Singapore for 4k SGD per month. I have 3.4 years of experience in IT Audit and also did masters in specialization with Information Security and hold two certs. I currently earn approx 12 L per annum ( fixed + bonus) in India. Do you think it's a good offer. Also my expectations were 6k SGD or more per month. But the HR said I would never be able to find that in the market.

Not 100% sure, but sounds like American univ. was originally telling students they would have in-person classes, but couldn’t live on campus. Recommended a few places to look for apts for students. So a friend rented an apartment in DC anticipating he would be attending in-person classes at AU. Now AU has cancelled all in-person classes. No claim to break the lease (probably) but thoughts on promissory estoppel vs. AU or anything else?? Thanks
