Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

UBS If I had to move within the company to a different location , how does it work? For example if I move from low cost of living area to high cost of living area does the company re-evaluate the base salary within USA? Or do they come back and mention its your family requirement since your partner is located and you are moving ?Suggestions or experiences any !

what does replace business mean?
As in I understand business but cannot work as business. I could do operations but not interested in BAU roles.
But what is your actual skill set. Saying you’re a business consultant is so vague
Business analysis and Financial Sevices experience/ knowledge

I'd recommend doubling down and getting some tech skills - data skills, work with juptyer notebooks and things of that nature seem to draw eyes to resumes.

Tech skills are really important. Without those it doesn't matter if you have 25 years of experience nobody will hire you
As for certs....I haven't be asked for them in about 20 years. But that is because my resume has a string of lead engineer / lead architect positions - people always ask about those and then leave me alone
Also....you should always be learning. I'm 20+ years in and still get training on new topics near weekly
What jobs are you applying for? Do you meet the qualifications? If not how can you leverage the job you have to meet those qualifications?
Yes, I can do the job and have the relevant qualifications (meet the ask)
OP - are you a business analyst? As in You write user stories for dev teams and also play the Project Manager/Scrum Master role? If so I’ve been interviewing people for these roles (had an opening on my team). Are you making it to the interview stage?
No Agile certifications. I do understand the business (financial services, analytics) very well.
