I am a fresher CA + MSc. International business. I want to pursue career in M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Valuation, and such fields. Can somebody suggest what should be the starting point or what entry level roles are because every role is asking for experience in that field. I have done internship in Indirect Tax for 3 years but no IB or consultancy experience.

I recently lateraled into Big Law. Most of my colleagues are homegrown. My shift did involve a big change in practice area, and there's work that I haven't done before that I now have to do.

But, sometimes I feel stupid here, even for work which I have done previously. It's like I'm unable to understand instructions the first time around. And I have seen my colleagues getting annoyed by that. It's like I've become dumb. In my defence, I could say they're giving half assed instructions.

I've received an offer from LnT (29 LPA), is that good enough to resign now , considering my CCTC is 25.8.

Also, I'm almost 90 pc sure that i may be released within a week of resignation as my project contract has not been renewed and we're in handover phase.
