Right now what the Portfolio Analysts/Managers speak, sounds Greek to me.

How do PE exits look like for emerging market funds in Middle East (e.g Abraaj group type firms)

Would love to hear thoughts on best approach of you are a senior associate at V10 firm. Do you just become counsel until they tell you that partnership is not in the cards or do you try to hop to the first partnership (equity, or at least NEP with clear progression to equity if you bring in some business) opportunity at a say V50 firm. I’m not home grown at my current firm, but do have a small book currently.

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?

Is it hard to get into Salesforce? Big 4 consultant with 10 yoe, mostly in ERP/CRM implementation and program/project management, have Salesforce Admin cert but not much hands on experience due to mostly management exp, looking into Director TPM roles - should I apply? My company reimburses CFA exam fees if I clear level the exam and if I stay in the firm for 2yrs from reimbursement date. I don’t wish to be here for 2yrs. . Can i still apply for CFA scholarship?
