Take facebook. If you don’t like it you can jump around. Tech pay more for technical skills. FAANG is one the coveted exits from MBB..
They won’t come up on salary at all. I’ve heard of people getting higher sign on bonus but even that is really tough (but maybe this is the situation you can make it happen).
My honest opinion would be to go to Facebook if you want to be in tech long term. Even if comp were to catch up at McKinsey (not sure it even would) it will probably be more if a grind here. Facebooks prestige is probably equal or greater at this point as well
Facebook for sure. That's going to put you on a better track, and probably a higher offer?
I'd go to Facebook, it will make you more flexible later. Great place to start your career. McKinsey probably won't go much higher.
McKinsey as a consulting firm will give a wide berth of experience and when you ready to move on the doors to most companies are wide open. Fortune 10 companies use McKinsey, you can get to see how a variety of big companies operate and what issues they have internally about company direction. Going with Facebook limits you immediately.
This would’ve been true like 10+ years ago. Absolutely no reason to take MCK here. FB is gonna pay more, better benefits, WLB, brand recognition, and exit opportunities into tech.
