I am a vet tech and love monitoring anesthesia for some reason. Anyone else have something like this about your job?

I absolutely love working post operative care. Not sure why but it's my absolute favorite.

Yes, I really enjoy working with animals and helping them get well. I also like being able to monitor anesthesia and make sure everything is going smoothly during a procedure. It's really rewarding to know that I'm helping to make sure these animals stay safe and healthy.

Count me in. That's also one of my favorite parts of this job. I also like the fact that my coworkers are willing to educate me and help me improve.

I love my job because I get to educate owners. We know for sure that there are a few irresponsible owners. So being able to educate them is the best part for me.

I work in a sucky IBM cic, making $54k. It’s a full time job with regular benefits and vacation etc, it’s working with government clients. The job isn’t what I applied for & constantly changes. I don’t like that, but I’m a full time employee which is “stable employment”. Btw, I’m in the DC area.

I just got hired for a government contract through Accenture for a Business Analyst role. Pay is $65 per hour. 3 year contract. Benefits too. No PTO. Holidays off with pay, after 90 days.

Thoughts?

Will Amex restricting guess access for Centurion Lounge actually make any difference?

I can see short term changes but the way Amex has been aggressively marketing Platinum card, we just will have overcrowding of primary card holders 🤷🏻‍♂️

What's next, everyone has to spend min. 50k a year to get Centurion lounge access or pay per visit.

Hello everyone! So my dream job is to work at a veterinary office and I wasn’t able to go to college for it due to my financial issues and I still have that issue. I wanna get my foot in the door of any vet office I live in Maryland and I will start out as anything I just don’t know where to start. I have lots of experience with customer service and I love love love pets! I have Pets of my own and they are my world.

I need help. I think I’m being underpaid at my job I’ve been at for 3 1/2 years. I’m a full time receptionist for a veterinary hospital but I also manage the reception area (I answer all questions and if someone makes a mistake I’m the one the fix it) and am an in house trained veterinary assistant but can do a techs job (unlicensed) and I do help the technicians out anytime they need and I’m only getting paid $13 an hour while a crew member at arbys gets paid $15 . What should I do ?

My work-life balance in vet school is non-existent and I’m exhausted. Is this what being a veterinarian will be like too, or does it get easier?
