Hello, I am looking for jobs in Finance, accounting fields and I have done Masters and bachelors in mathematics. I have also done Canadian Investment Funds course Certification, still no luck in finding a good field job. Any referrals in Finance sector or banking sector would be appreciated. I am on PGWP and need a job ASAP. If someone from RBC or Scotiabank can refer me for banking advisor or entry level analyst roles would be great. TIA
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

Don't contact your manager regarding this at any cost, I have seen managers putting people on focus as they feel like u will eventually go away, so why can't be done with you when they need to put someone in focus.
You usually have to wait 2-3 years before a transfer is possible. Maybe speak to your manager and see what the possibilities are.
Sorry to hear your frustration. Do you want to stay in Amazon to move to the US?
In my org, they dont allow to transfer internationally until a person is SDE2. I dont see that happening for me under my current manager:( Want to move out of Amazon for a better opportunity
I know exactly how you feel, the workload can be really stressful. Have you tried communicating with your manager to see if there are any resources they can provide or positions they can refer you to?
Despite me delivering several projects, my manager still talks about giving me NI rating. This isnt helping me to even move teams at the same location and gets really frustrating
Did you apply for Canada PR?
Not yet.. I am hoping an employer to sponsor me for that
Employer sponsorship is not easy so I would start applying now - especially if you don't want to stay at Amazon. It takes a looong time between interviews, paperwork etc, so I would start working on an exit plan
I agree. Thats why I have been looking for a referral that could make it easier for me to get an interview
