I am currently working in Cisco as Technical consulting Engineeer G4 I applied internally for two different openings for G6 in software development, I am selected for one of the opening and under interview for another.
Is there any advantage of going ahead with interview for another opening ?
I mean can I ask both of them for salary negotiation ?

Anyone worried about firms over-hiring? Our firm has hired a LOT of people. I know we need it now / the past year, but will this bubble pop?

I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?

I'm a recent grad who accepted an entry-level full-time job offer with Capital One. I knew that MBB and other consulting firms rarely ever negotiate salary with new grads, so I didn't with Capital One as well. Was that a mistake?
