I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

Rising Star
Not for 5k. As a senior you should be getting 15 to 30% bump.
Thanks, good to know. I was expecting more around 10%, so I’ll see what happens I suppose
In public accounting you will get 8% raises per year, sometimes more…. Industry won’t be that. So you’d better get ahead while you can…if you’re leaving public.
Strictly money wise, that's a pretty low raise from public to industry. Remember you only get to leave public most likely once, so you want to capitalize on that raise. You likely won't be seeing the high raises in public accounting in industry. But you should also consider the other factors of a move and weight them accordingly (work-life balance, less hours, less stress, easier work).
What region? 75k seems low for an S2 I’m assuming lcol/ mcol?
