If I get referred at IBM, get a mail for details from the HR but do not reply as I currently don't want to switch because of some reasons, can I get referred again after say 3 months?
Asking cuz the profile blocks for an year after applying/getting referred at Accenture.
Please help with the answer.

Save yourself, MSG - get away from Govt work and make some real money in the private sector. There’s some bias against enlisted in Govt but on the outside, they think an E8 and O4 were both doing saving private ryan shit.
I’m in a similar boat. SFC 20yrs. Retiring January. There are SOME JMO programs that recognize E8 and above but by and large, I agree with EPY1. Every veteran I’ve spoken to on the outside said the same thing. The military is just a job that you did and you probably have some leadership experience.
If you do want to go the GS route, (because I researched it also) was to take whatever GS job you can get and move somewhere else for a better GS job. Because once you’re in the system you’re good. This is an oversimplification but theoretically correct.
If you want to keep working around Soldiers and continue to influence them, there’s not much I can say there; but if you’re open to possibilities, there is a need for you on the outside, especially in tech.

Recommend linking to the officer structures since that’s how the upper tiers of the GS/GG system link; so E7=O1/2, E8=O3, E9=O5+, then you can do the conversion O5=GS 14/15, O3=GS12/13 and so on.

Have a TS? Not necessarily my lane, but it seems like the IC contractors make a lot more than GS and are basically doing the same job. Trade off is .gov pension and job security
Then you’re probably in a really good spot. Particularly if you want to move into the cleared tech focused space. There are other interesting companies like Anduril that are defense tech too.
