I am java dev in EY with 6.3 years exp & looking for jobs in Delhi/ncr since Feb 2024 but due to LONGER notice period, I was not getting calls. Now going to get an offer from Impetus ,Gurgaon.

Current CTC: 18.5 Fix + 20% Var (22.17 LPA)

Offer yet to receive: 21 Fix 

BUT I will be getting the variable & yearly hike from EY in coming September end week. I am confused should I resign on the basis of this offer or should I wait till September & then look for jobs considering longer Notice period

I am an associate at an AM200 firm and was (IMO) very clear prior to accepting this role that I value work-life balance and wanted to try to keep work at night on the weekends to a minimal, but since February, it seems like it’s always something that requires my time as needed disregarding “business hours” or my personal schedule. Thoughts on whether to bring this up or continue to be a team player until I burn out and pay off my student loans?

I’ve been in an in-house role since the beginning of the year and just gave 2 weeks’ notice to leave for a much better paying and better titled position. The response has been very petty, to the point that I’ve been called unprofessional even after I asked the hiring attorney whether I could give longer notice at the current company’s request. Is this normal?

The same usual bonus for EY India folks. Doesn't at all add up to the chest thumping we do as a practice during the town halls.
On top of this remote working ki naam pe bijli ka bill 10k per mahina aa rha hain. And the tech salaries pumping inflation in the economy. The same place which was available for a 35k is quoting 50k. I wish atleast the hike is inflation beating :/
