At one point, my ex was fired from his job and didn’t find a new job for 9 months. I supported us financially completely (and put myself into my own financial peril because of it). When he got a new job, he broke up with me 1 month later. Safe to say that I will never do it again.
Damn! Karma will get him.
I’m not living with my partner, but he’s currently not working. He’s taking courses for certification. I paid for it. Does that count?
My fiance is teacher and I make 2x his salary. I pay most of our bills. That was the plan even before we were engaged
Looking forward to this after the wedding!!! We are also DINKWADs 💕. Now that we're settled in our house I can't wait to travel after the wedding!
I help my husband a lot with work situations and vice versa. I’m a better writer so he often asks me to proofread or reword emails, presentations, etc. I’ve also pushed him to put himself out there, go for what he wants, and so far it’s always turned out well.
I’ve done this but I’m gay so my partner is a woman.

I have never done the first, but my husband I have entirely different careers - I am in business he is a police chief ofone of the largest depts. The distinct difference in our careers allows us to add ideas as welcome from such different perspective.

Not before marriage, but lost his job during the pandemic and I was the sole income for a year. I currently make 5x his income.
