Anyone here 40s never married, no kids?
I know Liver King is out there but my roommate has been living by his “9 ancestral tenets” and it basically changed his life. Anyone else that follows something similar seen benefits? Seems like he’s rooted on well being and staying connected with the world around you. Even if you think he’s weird his YouTube video is well put together.

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

I convinced my younger sis to spend her money on fireworks so we can watch it together while I saved mine. She still remember it until today. Lol 😆
I told my brother (who wanted to grow up to be a “bird” - he wasn’t quite three)- that If he just wanted it badly enough, he could jump off the front stoop and fly. Shocker: it did not work, he got some serious air time AND major scrapes and still brings it up today. He is now 45.
I was 4 years old and I poured cereal into a bowl. Realized we had no milk :( Brother convinced me to just eat it with water. Said it wouldn't be that different.

😩 reminds me of the time my Dad ate his with orange juice when he came on a camping field trip with me and they ran out of milk.

A friend told me that the bottom of the pool we were swimming in smelled like blueberries and convinced me to check it out.
My (evil) twin sister convinced me and our other sister to clean her room, and made me pay for it because she was giving us valuable work experience.
Is she a partner now?😅

Convinced 3 year sister that she was adopted. Our parents found her in a garbage can. I was 9 and other sister was 7. The youngest was so darn cute. We wanted to make her cry so we could then comfort her. I guess she was like our living doll 🤣😂😂😂
Aww OP :) Hahaha we love what we don’t have. I always loved silky straight hair of my mum and sis.
Yeah they love my hair. 😊 I ruined my curls with perm straightening but now it’s been 5 years since experiments and they are back and rocking - partial straight in front and curls at back 😊

A person I thought was my friend told me writing on the walls in the bathroom was cool. I was a quiet, good student and then got in trouble for writing “Joseph had sex with Melanie” and “Joseph is a bitch”. This was 2nd grade. I still remember it verbatim that’s how embarrassing it was
How did I not see this omg hahahahaha
My brother used to have me get him snacks/drinks for “an invisible dollar.” He also convinced me to stick my finger in the cigarette lighter in my dad’s truck😬
Sending a sexist joke to my school's entire mailing list. He clicked send from my mailbox.
played “doctor” with my friend when we were 8. We gave her 5 yr old brother a HEALTHY dosage of cough syrup, and he passed out for 6 hours.
