Not paying enough for 3 years big 4 exp. Esp in hcol.
Currently a senior at a different insurance broker (haven’t updated my profile since leaving public so it still shows me as a staff).
I’m fully remote in a MCOL area (with no state income tax) and make $85k. With the experience/in-office requirements as well as the cost of living in NJ, I’d expect at least $95k-$100k depending on benefits.
I’m sure someone will sign on at this price, but I’d also expect them to leave after a year when someone offers more money.
FWIW, in my experience the work life balance is pretty good in this industry as long as you’re not in a client facing role.
are audit seniors in nj with cpa making more? just curious about the diff between ny and nj
Yes they are K1.
NYC senior 1s are making 92-95k in audit. Step it up.
Thanks. Don’t spend the referral bonus all in one place.
Make it remote to be more attractive.
You can take a S1 advisory job at 100k minimum and work ~45 hr/week (20 days pto starting) at 2 YOE with higher growth potential. I hope you can be more competitive.
Understood I’m not looking for an Advisory person though the landscape is littered with FDD and Deals people I need a staff 2 with 3 or so years of experience out of mainline External audit and we can now pay 110 Our 401k offers immediate vesting with a 100% match up to 4% with no step vesting
