I am looking to get out of industry as an IC for a WMS and more into supply chain tech and strategy at a higher level. I have no idea where to even start looking. I have degrees in MIS and SCM and am currently working part time towards an MBA. I have 4 years of experience 2.5 in trucking and 1.5 in warehousing. All on the tech side.

I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all. I personally don’t see too many issues working at either Amazon or Facebook because I work at Deloitte where I’m sure we have many questionable clients and worked in financial services before. Curious on whether people are thinking about the ethics of their exit company when deciding to move?

Hey folks, what’s everyone’s thought on sustainability as a focus for supply chain. A lot of the work I do is optimization, supply chain excellence and the like of that. I’ve done some work in carbon footprint, it what’s everyone’s take on getting a masters of sustainability and going deep in as a SME in supply chain sustainability?

I currently do planning system implementation at SC level. Quite technical stuff and less PMO. What are my future career possibilities from here onwards? Can I keep progressing in the standard ladder and keep doing implementations, or is it automatically going to end up becoming more are more sales oriented and less actual implementation work? Especially interested in the SM level and above. I’d prefer staying at Big 4 and avoid the supplier side.
