I am stressed out of this CPA journey..have been on this for 5 years now. I was finally able to pass all parts but now my previous parts stand expired. Board already rejected my request of extension. I get asked at work every other month on the status of my CPA. Can’t explain the level of stress I am into. I am thinking of setting up a meeting and inform at my work that I can’t pursue CPA anymore and would like to know if CPA in condition to my employment and if yes, would move on from here.

Listen. I am in the battle as well and I will tell you: you can’t give up. You have been on this for so long. You can finish this marathon. This CPA journey sucks but you are a fighter and you can do this. Do not give up. Please. You already passed this before.. You deserve those letters.

Would appreciate any advise on this. I can’t imagine re study FAR and REG so I guess I am just losing this battle😔😔😔

Hi! So you just have Reg and FAR left?

And BEC too now.

If you need a study partner I’ve got you

I feel you OP. I’ve let it drag for more than a year now. I fff hate studying for this exam. Can you get your EA instead?

Get a tutor. Was the best decision I made.

I'm two thirds through the PMA Core Certification, and the info is great but the tests are a joke. They need to contract with an educator that specializes in testing and assessment to come in and develop exams that actually measure if you know the material. The bad test design devalues the certification. Not to zero, but I definitely will not be proud to have earned it. It just means I had $1300 and sat through 15 hours of video lectures.
