Not easy Roughly 2 years Nope
GC on L1A is typically 1-2 years and it is very straightforward(because EB1 GC has same eminence requirements as L1A), but getting an L1A itself could be a challenge, and if you get denied at the embassy/consulate, reapplying and getting it overturned is hard.
My strategy is to go for L1A and if that doesn’t work, then try H1B. The only tricky part is that once Partners in Canada know about my intentions they may get salty and bother me for the remainder of my time in Canada
OP ! Are you a manager ? L1A visas stamping are tricky but you can try for H1b and then try to enter US after spending 1 year outside of US and apply for EB1C, not a straightforward route but then you might not face rejection during your h1b stamping if your h1b petition is approved
Good luck, Deloitted you find it interesting 😅

you have to complete at least an year as manager . if not L1A is almost impossible. you also need Deloitte support for the transfer.

While we wait for someone to respond, OP, isn’t this something you should have thought of before you left for canada?

All good OP. Wasn’t being snide! Just curious. I suggest spending a couple of years in canada and rising up the ranks so that your chances of fulfilling the eb1c qualifying criteria increase and then you can come back to the usa.
In the same boat. Completed 5 months 8 more to go and fingers crossed. Deloitte canada Toronto location.
