I am trying to find a job from the last 8 months. Prior to this I took a break for a year to be with my new born. I am barely getting any interview calls, the ones that call never get back to me. I am feeling so low and demotivated. I don’t know what to do. 😕

Been digging into the obvious (e.g. resume, DCF, three-statements, basics of LBO, why IB + this bank) but don’t want to spend unnecessary time on everything that comes up in a google search if it isn’t the right approach.

At the end of the interview, the person told me I passed the interview and they were going to talk to the Director who’s a level under them. It’s a yes for them and they’re happy to work with me.

I also sent my references. I don’t know when I can expect an reply. Recruiters from that company aren’t really organised
