I am writing to report misleading job postings on your platform. Many listings, including those posted over 30 days ago or even just 2–5 days old—advertise positions that are not genuinely available. This practice wastes applicants’ time, money, and trust.

Please review your postings and remove any positions that are no longer open or were never real. Job seekers rely on accurate information to make decisions about employment and livelihood. Immediate action and transparency are expected.

This isn't new. Nor is Glassdoor remotely involved.

It’s everywhere. There is not one single platform that doesn’t have this as an issue.

I haven't seen any of these. I am glad you reported it though. It is important to stay vigilant and be careful when applying for new roles.

Thanks for your comment. What I described isn’t a matter of “vigilance” it’s a matter of accuracy and accountability from the platform and the employers posting the jobs.
Many listings remain up long after the positions are filled, and some were never active at all. This creates a false sense of opportunity for job seekers who are investing real time and effort.
I reported it because it’s not about isolated incidents it’s a pattern. And when patterns waste people’s resources, they deserve to be addressed directly, not dismissed.

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?

I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

Background: got a promotion at current company that didn't come with sufficient increase . After stating my case I was told it would be evaluated next October, which is what prompted the initial job search.

Current TC 103K [88/15], offer 125k base [+discretionary bonus].
