Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

I'm not well versed in formal software dev stuff. I haven't implemented agile or other process. I haven't done formal testing, though I test everything I do.
Couple concerns. It feels like it would be tough to go from not being a part of a team ever to leading one. And I like the idea of individual contributor role more than a manager. But this might be good for my career. Neither lists a salary range. Go for it? Or stick with the original?
Thanks! Yeah I do understand that's a better career progression for me. And having a new opportunity that forces me to grow - sounds good to me, yeah I could use that. Growth is the main reason I am looking. I was a bit hesitant because I haven't been on a software team before and it would probably be a more natural progression to be a team lead that has been on a team before and knows this formal infrastructure stuff more than me. But if I happen to get it, I'm ready for the challenge and I'll put in the time and energy to plug gaps.
Generally speaking, as someone who was seriously researching relocation logistics to a city where I was in contention to get a job in a long multi-stage interview process (I did not get the job), I recommend trying to not worry too much about the actual job until you actually get the job. Good luck! I would emphasize your potential and skills to lead a team or whatever they are asking.
Thanks. Yeah true. I do understand chances are always low to get any specific job. Perhaps I'll use this opportunity to tell them more about myself, just being really careful about it. And knowing the salary ranges might guide my action, but I don't know if I should ask that yet. More communication, clearing out any misconceptions on either end. And I'll let them know I'm ready to take that on and am confident I'd be effective for them if they'll have me.
