Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Was the interview in person or video? Personally I think it's best to be early; shows initiative, planning and professionalism. If it was in person, normally you'd be expected, and asked to wait or be shown to a room to wait, just like a physician visit. If virtual, it gives you time to adjust camera, appearance lighting etc. Annoyed? Then you don’t want to work there. That’s a warning sign. Either way, dismiss them and move on. Wishing you good luck!
No, 15 minutes early is exactly on time for a job interview. You were professional, they were not.
Personally I think 15 minutes is too early! If in person, I’d walk in maybe 5-8 min early. If virtual, I feel like 2-3 minutes is plenty.
Now I’m curious if this is a cultural thing. I’m from Europe and the etiquette is to be in the lobby 15 minutes before the interview. Maybe for other meetings slightly later but 15min will definitely not be considered annoyingly early
