Squats! Oldie but goodie and you can do them throughout the day whenever you think about them, with weights or without.
The OG booty workout! Lol... and you can use the bands just for regular squats too, right?!
Order “Insanity”
One of the best workouts!
Oh! My husband has done insanity before... can you use the bands with that workout?
You can definitely look up booty band workouts on YouTube but just fyi your glutes won’t grow unless you add weight
Thanks! But without the weight, will they still work for toning?
Heavy weights and lots of protein! As someone else mentioned you need to add all over, can't hit "just" the booty unfortunately 😊
Nah, that's not embarassing- it's a workout! But if you're looking to "gain" glutes (which are mostly muscle) you'll most likely need something heavier- *how* heavy will vary by person. If it's in your cards, your best bet would be a trainer, even for just a few weeks/ months to help you learn how to move safely with heavier weights and analyze/ adjust your form. I find trainers help with confidence too, especially when it comes to entering a weight room! Or, there's tons of good resources/ videos online on how to deadlift/ squat safely & effectively- record yourself & see how your form looks.
Good form is more important than the heaviest weight, so learn *how* to move, then increase the weights as you can, while still maintaining your movement- so go for 5-10 lbs or 10-15 lbs to start & learn- when those get easy & you're comfortable go to 20-30, and on and on! 💪
The Madfit 10 Minute Booty Band Cardio Burn is something I routinely follow. In just 10 minutes, this workout cranks up the intensity, leaving you sweaty and burning in the booty.
Check out blogilates' 10 Minute Booty Burn Workout with Bands. Cassey Ho reveals in the video that she felt like doing a booty band workout because she had a tired butt from a lengthy flight. It's excellent for those of us who often spend a lot of time sitting or lying down.
The 30 Min Intense Mini Band Workout - Full Body, No Repeats, With Resistance Band by growingannanas on YouTube is my favorite exercise routine. In this 30-minute video, you'll use booty bands for everything from squat leaps to shoulder lifts to side planks. Don't forget to warm up and cool down.
You can do squats for a booty workout. You don't need tools unless you want it to be more advanced. I have seen a lot of YouTube videos teaching people on how to do the workout right. It would be a nice idea checking it out.
I do a lot of booty band workouts on Youtube - my go to are Heather Robertson and Sydney Cummings...but I also do some Pamela Reif vids when I don't have time and those are pretty effective
Awesome, thanks! I'll have to check those out!
You can definitely find everything on YouTube these days. Try MadFit's 10 min Resistance Band Booty At Home Workout (Glute Activation). She's one of my favorite fitness gurus on the app.
You can totally do that. However, many people don't realize that there's more to it than just doing squats to grow your booty. You'll still need to dig deep with knowing what your body needs in terms of nutrition.
I personally use a workout app called Home Workout for Women. It has trackers so users can visually track their progress. It also recommends a variety of workouts for each focus.
I bought one as well. I want to have the right equipment so I could kickstart my fitness journey (new year's resolution) on a good note.
Workouts are complex more than we realize. You can't just focus on one part of your body. Every part must work together. I say go get yourself a trainer.
The focus of Caroline Girvan's 30-minute workout is on your glutes for 20 minutes and your abs for roughly 10 minutes. Since most glute exercises also train your core, it's really a two-for-one workout, if I'm being completely honest.
On YouTube, I watch Fitbymik's 10-minute Standing Booty Band Workout. For me and those whose wrists get sore from doing floor exercises, a standing booty band workout is ideal. Even though the complete workout just lasts for 10 minutes, it won't feel simple.
Wow! I feel like I've struck gold with all these ideas. Thanks, everyone!
Squats, no doubts about that. It's a killer workout for a reason. Well, at least for me. Haha
