You just stopped in 1 booth and sent 1 message? Is live interviewing expected?
With live job fairs, these are low risk opportunities to learn about a company and open positions, and talk to the recruiter about your background. At a booth, there are links to company information and an interview scheduler. You can initiate a chat with a live recruiter which I did. This company was not offering live interviews(?!) and the only exchange was a 2-message chat. I had to register and submit a resume, photo and a bio to get this far. It was a job application with extra steps.
Please tell me more about these virtual job fairs, I never thought about this type before
