I ask bc I’m in a large friend group with people from one specific culture and I’m the different one. I can’t help but feel “left out” when I keep hearing about people in this group coupling up, or hanging out for the purpose of finding a spouse and never being considered… it’s starting to eat at my confidence lol

I’m a recently barred associate attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in Houston, Texas that pays under market salaries for similar hours as big law. This is my first job out of law school and I have only been in it for a few months. I know that the demand for corporate attorneys at big law shops in Houston is at an all time high. Would it be worth looking around/ would it look terrible to leave my first job after only a few months? (Current firm has questionable rep/culture also)

Recently starting dating this guy (3 weeks) and things are moving rather fast, we get along great, have very similar backgrounds, I met his family (very normal in our culture), spend a lot of time together. All the great things of the honeymoon phase basically, but I am about to go back home for 2 months and he’s not worried, said we can FaceTime and all so it’s good. Almost 32 years old and feeling stuck.
