I come from a corporate finance background and I see that a lot of people have successfully transitioned to BizOps without a traditional management consulting gig. I am currently a financial advisory consultant at a boutique firm. What’s your advice on breaking in?

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

I work in a strategy role at a gaming company. While I have the designation of a manager, I am not managing anyone. They were going to hire people who I would manage but due to recession it’s not happening. I was earlier in consulting and left at the senior level. How does one pivot into senior roles without having an opportunity to manage anyone?

From what I've experienced most BizOPS case interviews are more geared towards the product than the standard consulting case and maybe a little market sizing.
