I could see collecting points if you travel a lot but I only take one or two trips a year. Is it worth it for someone like me to collect points since I travel so little?

I have ~900k ultimate rewards points and am hoping to use them to take my wife and <6 month old somewhere for a week before Xmas. Because of the baby/covid we’re not too keen in traditional hotels and/or anything that offers higher risk. I’m also sure most hotels wouldn’t want a young baby at their establishment anyway. Any point experts know how to use the UR points to book a house (like on Airbnb or VRBO) but still max that 1.5x benefit for booking travel with UR? Driving distance from nyc
