Hi all,
I'm serving Notice period and last date shall be 13th May 2022. Can someone help me understand if the bands and compensation isn't release by that date, will that be adjusted in full and final settlement?? If so, what about the components, which all shall be credited in that FFS?
Thanks in advance.

I dont think work you did with another agency will help you in a negotiation.
Also, if your name isnt on the credits for said award, it might be hard for you to prove you played a significant role in it.
Youd be better off leaning on all the good things youve done with your current shop

Sure. Tell your current FT agency that you were quietly freelancing on the DL after signing a FT contract w/ them. I’m sure they’d LOVE to hear that! 🤣🤦♂️
(Congrats on the win if you were really instrumental in concepting the idea and not just writing social posts and banner ads. Get copies of the work for your portfolio but don’t say a word to your FT agency)

@SC1 don’t waste your time. There are blanket clauses that say you can’t. Even if there is no clause it’s a really bad look. “Don’t ask. Don’t tell.” Ever.
When you win awards at your FT agency you’ll have leverage.

Don’t let a “little bit of money” cloud your judgement. Simply use it as leverage when you jump to your next FT agency.

You should have been up front when you took the job that you had some freelancing gigs that still needed a few months to be completed. That’s typically no issue and had you don’t that you could bring it up.
Or you can just say you were still working on it when you started and you needed to finish your commitment
It would help you negotiate a new position elsewhere. But at your current agency unfortunately it won’t make a difference.
I wouldn’t advise that. Check your employee contract carefully before you disclose that you’re freelancing.
I would. Use whatever you can to get more money. It can only help you.
