How to start automation testing?
I’ve been trying to get into the top tier Associate Product Marketing Manager position Google for some time now for just an interview and I feel like business majors somehow have such a stronger chance in getting interviewed especially my business school and I feel really discouraged as an Econ Major and I have a lot of marketing experience that I’ve built over the years. Are there any non-business majors in the tech realm in non technical positions at Google that can advise me?

I recommend going on glass door and checking out behavioral interview questions. It’s REALLY basic stuff: strengths/weaknesses, times you worked with difficult people, time you had to take leadership, greatest accomplishment, etc. case study should be manageable. Back when I did it in 2016, they gave you a story about a business and you had to identify the risks (failure to separate finance and accounting roles, failure to have proper checks and balances, etc.) tbh it was pretty obvious stuff.
Just try to be as personable as possible. If you have a strong academic record and at least some sort of professional experience on the resume, they really just want to make sure you are a good culture fit.
Best of luck! I’ve been with EY since I interned in 2016. Great place to start your career (or stay for a while if you like it).
Focus on problem-solving and time management-related questions. You should also highlight your skills and strengths. Be confident and do not hesitate to ask questions. Good luck!
