HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?
Well sh*t...what’re y’all doing?

As of right now, getting the job isn’t the issue, it’s the visa the issue. I know lots of people who had to go back due to new immigration laws.
Don’t let that discourage you. You are not everyone. Try your chances. What industry do you work in and what service line? Getting a job at a big 4 is already hard by itself and getting a job when you are a foreigner is even harder but not impossible....
Good luck 🍀
If you’re trying to get to the US I think your best bet is going through BDO for a secondment or transfer. I agree with IA1- it’s the visa that will be the issue. If you go this route, there’s an inter company visa that’s easier to get (L1 visa). Alternatively I’ve met a few foreigners who did a short term big 4 US rotation through a program called Cross Country. However doing this, you’re a contractor for the B4 (not an employee) and it’s only a few months. Good luck!
1. Get senior 2. Apply for a secondment in the NYC office. That office has a lot. 3. Get married to an American so you can apply for green card. 4. Apply for big four.
Oh get your CPA too. That helps
