I currently work as an administrative assistant in healthcare (and am facing burn out) on the continuing education side. I don't have a completed degree, but I now have 4 years experience under my belt and (at the risk of sounding conceited) am very good at it and I think I could take my skill further, but I feel like I am being passed over for people with degrees. How can I "sell myself" better so I can get a new job that has more opportunities?

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal?
