I don't know if anyone here works in a retail setting, but I have worked in retail pharmacy for almost 26 years and I just dont think I can do it anymore.

Which is the more lucrative and flexible long term career path when comparing .NET development vs salesforce development.

By flexible I mean in terms of moving between positions, companies and technologies.

I've done both and am currently doing salesforce development but don't want to get pigeonholed.

Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. Hi! I was approached by Databricks to join as a CSE, did the interview process and got and offer. I'm currently a Senior Data Scientist at IBM, going for manager soon. I was curious if others did a similar switch and if they were happy with their decision.

What is the average amount of time to fill a role? How long in advance should a recruiter start working with a hiring manager to get their position posted?
