Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Your tile and position is one piece of the puzzle. Does having a name brand company help your odds? Sure. But there are so many other factors. Promos, work experience, and leadership experience will prob play a bigger part in overall admissions. Also your performance is pretty important regardless of your company. You will need people to vouch for you on your Recs. In my opinion, it’s harder to write amazing recs if you’re an average employee, even if you are at a name brand company.
Thanks for the advice!!
Better chance than who?
This is a ridiculous question. Business schools take candidates from all walks of life. Corporate, healthcare, government, military, education. Consultants are a dime a dozen.
B4 consulting exp+ 720 or higher GMAT + 3.2 or higher GPA = basically guaranteed T15 acceptance
