Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

OP: i feel behind in life since I make 65K. how much did you make?
Person: I made 50K
OP: oh great, so I'm at least in front of you. Self-esteem repaired.
Bruh, you feel behind? With this post, all you're doing is looking for someone else to stand in front of. Find some worth within yourself. Only compete with your future self and your needs. Make money to fund the lifestyle you want, not to compare to others
This post is gold!!!
I was making around 20 at that age. Unbelievable
Like $10/hr... LOL
Change your mindset, OP.
Same. $10.90 p/h.
About $500 per month or $6,000 per year at your age. There's no typo.
Are you serious bro? First world problems much
20: $40k
23: $60k
At 29, now, I make $115k.
Don’t give up! I used to feel very hopeless and exhausted, but keep on trying. There are wonderful people out there and great opportunities to help you find that spark again! 🫶🏼 Rooting for you!
When I was 23 I was making about $22880 at the beginning of the year. Than I got a job making $40,000 it was a government appointment. After that I was kind of stuck in the 27k - 35k for a while. It’s nice to see how everyone has progressed but I’ve been fighting to progress for a while and I’m tired. I gave up a long time ago and honestly see no point in continuing to try. Good fortune is not for me 🤷🏾♀️
🤷🏾♀️ now I do, but it was so long ago, and I was having a crappy day hence the “no good fortune”.
At 23 I was self-employed and pretty poor, Probably earning somewhere around $20-30k a year. That included my partner's income too. We worked together. Counting change to see if I could afford groceries or coffee was a common thing. It was rough.
Now I'm 33 and I'm finally breaking through the 6 figure threshold. It's been a journey... 🛤️
65k at 23 is outstanding.
At 23 I was in grad school making jack diddly squat
Dude, you have your whole life ahead of you. If I had a do-over, I’d focus my energy on figuring out what it really is that I want to do. Have little overhead and save some money, then take some time to travel, experience the world.
As they say, if you love what you’re doing it’s not really work…
Bae, I made $32k when I was 23 as a teacher. Hard, rewarding work. Don’t let a number tell you who you are.
How can you be tired at 23!
From 21-28 I was making $11-15/hour. At 30 I’m at $150k. Life is full of twists and turns.

You’re 23. You’re just getting started. Stop comparing yourself to others. They’re probably lying anyways, tbh.
$68K, 2 years and one promo later I’m at $106K.
I felt the same way you did OP and interviewed at several places. I am very glad I did not receive an offer from any of them because I would have taken it and be making much less than I do now.

Hi OP I can relate. When I was 23 I was making 70k then I jumped to another company after promotion to make 115k. A year from now after my promotion I will be jumping hopefully to 140+
21 f, 85k at my first job (no degree, no experience)
At age 23 I made 52k first year out of college, this year at 24 I’m at 68k.
At 23, I was still waiting tables and intentionally not counting my cash so I didn’t know how much I spent at the bar afterwards. I lived with random roommates I found on Craigslist for like $300/m and slept on a twin bed with wheels and Jersey sheets from a thrift store. I fed myself by sneaking food at the restaurant I worked at. This was in 2013.
Now I make around $250k + equity. Everyone is tired bro

$17,000 post-college.
But eventually hustled up through LCOL white collar salaries to millionaire status by 35, so behind is what you make it.
Not sure why so many of these responses have so much sass. I’m 23 now and making $74k. I know where’s you’re coming from though, I have a friend who’s making $100k in nursing and one making $200k in swe. Just gotta realize that we’re still super new to our careers and that we’re in our specific careers for a reason. Salary’s good compared to the general population but we’ll get to where we wanna be eventually.
